Our jewelry is made with love and should be handled with care.

To care for your jewelry we recommend the following:

Remove all gold-filled jewelry before showering, swimming, and sweating. The 14k gold can handle those activities.
Put your perfume and hairspray on first, then your jewelry.
Store your jewelry in a lay-flat box or ziplock bag with the clasp left out to prevent tangling.
Clean your jewelry with our jewelry cleaning pen (if you have it). Otherwise warm water, mild soap and a delicate toothbrush will do the trick!

What is gold-filled jewelry made of?

Gold-filled is constructed in two-or three layers. The base metal is typically a brass and then the 14k gold is bonded to the surfaces of the base metal with heat and pressure. This means that gold-filled is typically a life-time product, unlike gold plating. Gold-filled will not tarnish but it does get dirty. Please refer to the care instructions above for how to keep your jewelry looking new.
